Just before Beachlands, after driving through idyllic countryside, you find
Pine Harbour, a mecca of relaxation and recreation with cafés, a
sheltered beach and marina with 600 berths.  A ferry departs
daily from this marina to Waiheke and Auckland

he lifeboat from 'Mikhail Lermontov', sunk in Malborough Sounds on
16th February 1986.  The winch and anchors are from the
'Rainbow Warrior' which was sunk by French agents in
Auckland Harbour on 10th July 1985
